Film Discussion Group: Dracula (1931)
Rebecca Roland

Each month, gather with fellow cinephiles for a lively discussion. Watch the selected movie on your own, then come to the meeting with your insights and opinions. The Athenaeum makes every effort to select films for discussion that are currently playing in theaters or available to stream.

As part of this fall's "Horror Films and American History" theme, September's film will be Dracula (1931) starring Bela Lugosi. The discussion will consider Dracula as an example of Gothic literature in early American cinema. We will also screen the short film Frankenstein (1910).

Dracula is available to rent on multiple streaming platforms, including Google Play.

Non-member price: $10.00
This event is free to Athenaeum members.
