Landscape architect Laurie Olin is responsible for many of the most iconic and beloved parks, gardens and public spaces in the country. Sitting Still portrays his social vision through the concerns that have defined his work: urbanization and a lost connection to nature, economic marginalization and the importance of humanity in design.
A light reception precedes the screening at 5pm in the Members Lounge.

Gina Angelone tells stories that connect people and ideas through artful documentary and narrative films. Her work has been the recipient of multiple Emmy awards and nominations, garnered top international festival prizes and major foundation grants. Gina directs, produces, and writes films through her company, SA KWA Pictures, including the 2024 documentary, SITTING STILL with grants from The National Endowment of the Arts, the Graham Foundation, The Philadelphia Foundation, The William Penn Foundation and the University of Pennsylvania.
