Join us for an Athenaeum members-only visit to the newly reopened A Man Full of Trouble Tavern, the only surviving pre-Revolutionary tavern building in Philadelphia. Owner and Athenaeum member Dan Wheeler will give us a tour of the building and talk about its history and recent rehabilitation. We will then gather for drinks, hoagies and conversation with the staff of Succession Fermentory in their tasting room on the 1st floor. We're welcome to hang out until 8pm.

A few things to note:

• Food and drinks are included in the ticket price!
• The tour includes the 2nd floor. The building does not have an elevator.
• We are meeting at The Man Full of Trouble Tavern, 127 Spruce Street, Philadelphia.
