Financial literacy is crucial for young adults because it lays the foundation for independence, long-term success, and reducing stress. Almost all Americans feel overwhelmed by their finances and have attributed financial stress to negatively affecting their mental health. Humans aren’t wired to plan for the future, and it’s even harder to do so in today’s era of immediate results and rapid rewards. As young adults, we have faced economic uncertainty like the 2008 Financial Crisis and Covid-19, homeownership is becoming more and more challenging, social media pressures create unrealistic expectations for lifestyles, and many of us are experiencing stagnant wages with more inflation.
Join us for an engaging financial literacy workshop designed to help young adults take control of their money and build a secure future. In this session, we’ll make money management less overwhelming, discuss why budgeting doesn’t work, how to build a system that’s right for you, and the most important concepts to understand when managing your money to sleep better at night. Walk away with actionable tips and tools to make confident financial decisions to start achieving your goals today!
