The Athenaeum hosts Socrates Cafe on the second Tuesday of each month.

Socrates Cafe is a facilitator led inquiry into philosophy, language, and the large and small questions of life. No preparation is necessary as the question for discussion is offered at the beginning of each session. We do not rely upon outside resources, but rather on each participant’s thoughts and reactions. Gil Feinberg is an Athenaeum member and has been facilitating Socrates Cafe meetings for nearly 20 years. Attendance is limited.
