Join us for an evening of poetry at The Athenaeum! Poet's Row + Club Connection will lead a black out poetry workshop, followed by poetry readings. There will also be a chance for you to take the mic towards the end of the night!
Poet's Row is a Philadelphia-based literary collective which holds poetry events throughout the city and releases anthologies of upcoming poets and artists. Their members include: James Milanesi, Amanda Giordano, Christian Bufo and Alejandro Santana. They have recently published their third anthology with locally based print shop, Fireball Printing. Club Connection is event series & community centered around creating containers for connecting through unexpected experiences. Born as an answer to the loneliness epidemic & friendship recession, the flagship event is a non-alcohol-centered, wellness-adjacent DJ event and has blossomed into other events including hikes, book swaps, & more. Each event is thoughtfully-designed to inspire meaningful interactions through curiosity & creativity.
