Don't miss this special guided tour for Athenaeum members and their guests! Space is very limited.
To mark the 250th anniversary of our nation’s founding, the Museum of the American Revolution presents a major special exhibition exploring the history and global impact of the Declaration of Independence from 1776 to today. The Declaration’s Journey, presented by Griffin Catalyst, showcases how, with more than 100 nations having integrated its ideals into their own independence movements, the American Declaration of Independence has become one of the most influential political documents in modern history. This visually captivating exhibition gathers together for the first time in one place some of the most important and rare documents, works of art, and artifacts from around the world that reflect the complex 250-year history and legacy of the Declaration of Independence.
We will meet at the Museum of the American Revolution, located at 101 S 3rd Street, Philadelphia. Arrival time is 9:50am for the one-hour tour starting at 10:00am. Registration includes general admission to the Museum. Feel free to stay and view the exhibitions on your own.
The tour is open to Athenaeum members and their guests only. If you are registering with a guest, please register as two members. Please note that all event registration sales are final, except in the case of program cancellation or rescheduling.
A "know before you go" email will be sent to registrants the week prior to the tour.
