The Classical Guitar Soirée Recital Series at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia is hosted in partnership with the Philadelphia Classical Guitar Society. A Soirée is a lively and intimate gathering that enriches participants and understanding through conversation and music. The classical guitar is often best appreciated and understood in this setting.
Winner of the Rose Augustine Grand Prize at the 2024 Guitar Foundation of America International Concert Artist Competition, Leonela Alejandro is a classical guitarist from Guaynabo, Puerto Rico. She has gained recognition as a soloist, captivating audiences with her powerful and passionate performance style. She has been invited to perform at numerous venues across the United States and Europe.
The concert starts at 5:30PM. It will be followed by light refreshments and a meet-and-greet with the performer.
