Whether new to the writing life or long-seasoned, committed writers of all stripes are invited to this Saturday morning social hour upstairs in the Busch Room. Expect bagels, coffee, and commiseration! New this gathering:

• Writers are strongly encouraged (but not required) to bring one sentence or poetic line (just one!) of their own writing to read aloud. Participants will be eligible for a prize 🙂
• We'll also leave time for attendees to share any writing-related announcements, resources, or miscellaneous hot tips. Tell us about the great new reading series you've discovered, the writing group you're hoping to start up, or a useful online database of magazines accepting submissions.

Athenaeum writer-members are welcome to extend this invitation to up to one non-member writer friend. Please register your guest under your name by adjusting the ticket number to 2 on the registration page.
