Allegro Presents: The Magic of Mandolin and Harpsichord
Ekaterina Skliar and Anna Kislitsyna

Mandolin and harpsichord come together with two world renowned musicians, presented by Allegro Music Consultants.

EKATERINA SKLIAR, mandolin

Ekaterina Skliar made her debut at age 11 with the Russian Folk Instrument Orchestra of the Buryatia Republic.  She performs with the domra and the mandolin, is a 2019 Astral National Auditions Winner, and has been performing at festivals and venues throughout the United States and Russia. Ekaterina started her music education with Vera Lashkina, in her home city Abakan, Republic of Khakassia. She received her Bachelor’s degree with Honors in Music Performance from M. Glinka Novosibirsk State Conservatory playing domra and mandolin. Her large repertoire includes transcriptions of classical music, original works for domra and mandolin, contemporary and jazz music.   She was chosen from more than 2000 applicants from all over the world in 2018 and invited to perform with the Kaleidoscope Chamber Orchestra in Los-Angeles, CA.  Ekaterina became a Silver Medal Award Winner of the Global Music Awards for her recording on domra solo in 2019.

ANNA KISLITSYNA, harpsichord

Pianist and harpsichordist Anna Kislitsyna made her solo debut at age 10 with the Omsk Symphony Orchestra. She remains in high demand as a soloist, collaborative pianist, and educator. Recent season highlights include five new CD productions with PARMA Recordings and two release concerts in Carnegie Hall’s Weill Recital Hall and returning to the Omsk Philharmonic to give the inaugural performance on the new harpsichord.  Dr. Kislitsyna has performed at The Kimmel Center, The Academy of Music in Philadelphia, Rachmaninov Hall of Moscow Conservatory, and at the Paris Conservatory.   In 2018 she completed her D.M.A at Temple University studying in the studio of Dr. Charles Abramovic on Piano, Dr. Joyce Lindorff on Harpsichord, and Pr. Lambert Orkis on chamber music. Anna completed Postgraduate Course-work in Piano Performance at the Novosibirsk State Conservatory in Russia where she also earned a Master Degree and Bachelor Degree.  She also holds a Master Degree from West Chester University (PA) where she studied with Dr. Igor Resnianski.
