Le Cercle Francophone d'Histoire: Honore de Balzac
Eric Simonis

A native of Alsace-Lorraine, Eric Simonis settled in Pennsylvania in 1990. Simonis is a French lecturer, a private French language instructor, and a tutor at The Lauder Institute of Management and International Studies. He appears monthly at The Athenaeum of Philadelphia where he leads “Le Cercle Francophone d’Histoire”, a group that combines love of the French language and of history. Eric lectures in slow French about a variety of themes that define French culture, human and intellectual achievements. In his upcoming talks, Eric will speak about four legendary French writers.
